Thank you for visiting my little corner of the web! I would like to take a brief moment to introduce myself and in hopes we can get to know each other better! So go make some tea or grab a cup of coffee and lets sit down together and chat.
My name is Alisha and I am 26 years old at the moment of writing this! I am a stay at home “wife” and I say it that way because really, I’m only engaged still, but my sweet darling fiance and I have been together for 6 years and have lived together for 4 of those 6 years, so it really feels like we’re already married. We also have 6 wonderful kitties, our little fur babies and cannot wait to start a family of our own. I really enjoy spending my free time crafting in one sort or another be it knitting or crochet or scrap booking or even embroidering and cross stitching. I also enjoy cooking and baking and love when I can make something that makes my Fiance happy to eat, and not just him either, I love making guests happy with my meals too! I am also new to becoming Christian. Evangelical Lutheran to be exact. Growing up, religion was not a big thing in my household, and due to some tragic life events, I had to move away from family I knew and loved, to family I had never ever met before and was introduced to religion there…and it wasn’t the most pleasant of experiences. When I finally returned home, religion and I were on shaky grounds and we went through some dark spots. It was actually a religion called Wicca a sect of Paganism that helped to leave my dark places and except religion. 13 years later, I am thankful for what Paganism and Wicca taught me, but I know it’s time to move on, and am trying to re-embrace the religion I once so loathed and gave me a cold heart.
My goals for this blog are to share blessings with each and every one of you that stop by. Be it in the form of laughter, or a yummy recipe, or a craft to work on on a rainy day, what have you! I simply want to share the blessings of life with you that God has granted me a second chance and is showing me that not everything has to be dark and scary.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope to see you again soon!
